SEPTEMBER 12 2026 BEAUTIFUL BREMERTON WA
Celebrating National Recovery Month every September.
Join us for our 4th Annual Recovery 5K - a fun run, walk, and hike through the beautiful trails of Illahee Preserve in East Bremerton.
This event brings together everyone - from local college athletes to first-time 5k walkers - all united by a shared commitment to recovery and community. Last year 100 participants took to the trails and we're growing every year.
Everyone gets event swag, a custom finisher's medallion & coffee and donuts at the end!
All proceeds support the Salish Recovery Coalition, whose mission is supporting all roads to recovery.
Meaningful moments have happened out on those trails - stories of recovery, connection, and hope exchanged at every step!
Free BBQ. Community. Connection.
After the race, head over to Evergreen Rotry Park in West Bremerton for our free community BBQ - open to the whole community. Bring the family! There will be games, a resource fair, and end of summer fun. Food is generously provided by the Suquamish Wellness Program.

He started out as a bit of a doodle. But when I needed something to stand in response to the overdose epidemic, I thought back to Haring and Basquiat. That they somehow maintained joy while they faced the desperation of the AIDS crisis in the '80's. Rico had that thing. Powerful and playful - the attitude we need as we face our generation's public health crisis.
OUR WONDERFUL SPONSORS!
The Suquamish Tribe Wellness Program graciously provides all of the good eats for the BBQ at the park!
